On occasions I have heard friends reminisce about common anecdotes in front of a very alarmed me, who completely misremembered certain details or, in some cases, forgot the entire thing happened. So, this project was born as an exercise in remembrance, due to the need to preserve those memories. It is an attempt to clear up the fogginess and preserve what is still a crisp image, a childhood journey through important spaces that I no longer visit: friends' and family's houses, travels, places that only exist in remembrance, dark photographs in my mind.

I deliberately excluded any human presence not only because I'm bad at drawing people, but also because I wanted to emphasize the environment and not limit my memory with faces and identities, but treat it as a silent stage where the beginning of my life unfolded.
